Mr. Malik was also outspokenly critical of Mr. Modi’s failure to attend the all-party meeting or to praise the Kashmiri people for their emotional and powerful response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack in his Mann Ki Baat. Mr. Malik said the failure to attend the all-party meeting was a sign of “arrogance” whilst he suggested that Mr. Modi did not praise the Kashmiri response because he benefits politically from permitting a Hindu-Muslim divide to continue in the country.
