Can Permaculture Alleviate Poverty & Ensure Food Security?  https://madrascourier.com/environment/can-permaculture-alleviate-poverty-ensure-food-security/  Mollison described permaculture as “the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive systems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems. It is the harmonious integration of the landscape with people providing their food, energy, shelter and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way.”  Permaculture can only be sustainable if we model our entire society with all its elements surrounding it. This is better illustrated by the permaculture flower. The flower tells us that economy, technology, education, health, land, and architecture are all to be included in sustainability. Only then can permaculture be achieved.
