The Cost of Conflict: How Pahalgam’s Tragedy Hurts Common Citizens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdNMfahGyX8 The Public Global May 6, 2025
The recent events in Pahalgam have left a deep impact, with ordinary citizens bearing the brunt of fear, loss, and division. From local heroes who showed compassion to families caught in the crossfire, this video explores the human cost of conflict and the resilience of communities. can we heal and unite?
Sandeep Pandey says: At an online meeting held by the socialist party in which four Kashmir friends spoke and each one of them was pained by these incidents which are happening where they are being targeted and seen as the culprit whereas they they are the ones who have suffered the most. So it is the responsibility of Indian citizens in other states to ensure that if Kashmiris aee given protection by the state governments and the police . ..... this is the only way in which we can express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in this hour of crisis. of course people who can go there they should continue going there so that uh we should not let the motive of the people who were behind the terrorist attack in Pahelgam to affect
the normal life in Kashmir. So if the normal life continues if people start keep going to Jammu and Kashmir for tourism and and other purposes, it would foil the attempts by who whoever it is who doesn't want peace in Kashmir andwho wants to spoil the relationships between India and Pakistan.
so we hope that common people of India and common people of Pakistan will join hands and will ensure that peace and an atmosphere of amity and friendship prevails and people are able to live peacefully and and uh in and and ensure that communal harmony prevails

In an incisive YouTube video posted on May 3, Kumar spelt out in some detail the prime minister’s preoccupations and activities in the 12 days following the Pahalgam attack. He also juxtaposed these with what the family members of those killed in the terror attack had to go through in the same period.

At a time when the prime minister should be working together in consultation with other major political parties to chalk out an appropriate responses to the huge challenges facing the nation, Modi seems to have defaulted to his time-tested strategies of dodging, deflecting and distracting – or “3D” as he might call it himself.

Jammu and Kashmir Student Brutally Assaulted in Nagpur, Maharashtra this evening. Mohd Waseem, a student from Doda area of J&K, was brutally thrashed without any rhyme & reason by fringe elements in Nagpur, Maharashtra. He is pursuing his studies at Kishoritai Bhoyar College of Pharmacy, Kamptee, Nagpur.
According to Waseem, around 2–3 goons attacked him. Some of the assailants knocked him down and started punching him on the face and stomach, and hitting him on his knees. He was slapped 8–9 times on the face, neck, back, and arms, and was beaten to a pulp.
Despite trying to escape and run away, he could not. He was beaten mercilessly for no reason. It is extremely sad and alarming. Such a reign of terror against Kashmiri students must stop immediately. Request. Hon'ble Maharashtra Chief Minister @Dev_Fadnavis Ji to intervene personally and take immediate, strict, and exemplary action against the culprits to send a strong message.
The safety, dignity, and constitutional guarantees of Kashmiri students must be upheld at all costs. No citizen should feel unsafe in any part of the country because of their identity.
Pahalgam Terror Attack: How Arnab & Co. Deflected Accountability | TV Newsance 296 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSpAf4VTAi8
26 innocent lives lost. Meanwhile, much of TV news is exploiting grief for TRPs, turning national sorrow into a war cry for ratings. As the nation mourned, there were urgent questions to be asked: How did this security failure happen? Who is accountable?
But instead of questioning those in power, TV news channels chose to cheer every move of the Prime Minister and Home Minister – even applauding them for simply talking to each other.
While anchors should have been investigating the breach, they were busy shouting war slogans, fuelling Hindu-Muslim hatred, and demanding revenge from Pakistan. Arnab Goswami even invoked a "Final Solution" for Kashmir. The terrorists sought to divide us by deepening fault lines, and the media is playing right into their hands by stoking religious divisions. This is not just irresponsible; it’s dangerous.
Accountability was demanded – but from everyone except the government: Opposition, Supreme Court...anyone will do, just not Amit Shah.
