In a statement issued on December 2, OCCRP denied that is influenced by its donors. “OCCRP has no limits on its journalism and no donor influences our reporting,” the statement said.

जिस मीडिया संगठन मीडियापार्ट की रिपोर्ट का हवाला देकर बीजेपी ने राहुल गांधी और सोनिया गांधी पर देशद्रोह के आरोप लगाए, उसी संस्थान ने कह दिया है कि बीजेपी उसकी रिपोर्ट के नाम पर झूठी ख़बरें फैला रही है। यह वही मीडियापार्ट है जिसकी रफ़ाल पर की गई खोजी रिपोर्टों को बीजेपी अतीत में अस्वीकार कर चुकी है। बीजेपी ने अमरीकी एजेंसियों और जॉर्ज सोरोस पर भारत के ख़िलाफ़ षड्यंत्र के आरोप लगाए हैं, डीप स्टेट का नाम लिया है। जेपीसी की माँग भी की है। अगर इस मामले में केंद्र की सरकार जेपीसी का गठन करती है तो क्या उम्मीद की जा सकती है कि विपक्ष की माँग को मानते हुए अदाणी मामले में भी जेपीसी का गठन होगा?
