Bakhi released a video on Thursday stating that Minister Halarnkar’s “entire statement is factually incorrect”. The actor also noted that he had filed a complaint against the minister at the local police station over the incident at the panchayat office.

“I would like to categorically state that nothing of the sort happened that is being claimed by Minister Halarnkar. The video that has been shared by me and my statements given last night make everything very clear. Minister Halarnkar’s entire statement is factually incorrect, mischievous and self-contradictory, as can be seen from his own several statements to the media compared to his previous statements and compared to the contents of the complaint filed,” Gaurav Bakshi said.

arrested. Connecting to the same provision, she also spoke on how the said law will have a negative impact
on the right of bail that can be exercised by the one arrested.

to bail, criminalise free speech (in a newly introduced provision that she described as “sedition plus” and also
penalise, if not criminalise legitimate democratic protest. Safeguards against police abuse that had been
introduced through amendments earlier have been deliberately left out said Setalvad.

He ( Mr. George Fernandes) was great admirer & follower of Mr. Ram Manohar Lohia .Helped very poor labourers throughout his life . Very dynamic , bold trade union leader throughout nationwide . All top political leaders exploited him . He was very good coordinator . Brought 22 parties under one roof ,NDA. He was key in making Mr. Atal as PM. Sad part is no politician came close for his help during his old age whether Atal Bihari or L.K.advani . Died without much publicity compared to his dedications towards poor and also contribution in forming NDA government. Extremely simple man . Lived life helping large group of poor labourers. Main architect of Konkan railway. He is unsung hero. All forgot him though he dedicated his entire life for poor for more than 60 years . No monument on his name .
