Since the beginning, the proponents of the Vizhinjam port have been propagating many claims. As I started reading official reports and other studies by experts related to both economic and environmental aspects of the proposed port, I realized that all these claims are false.
The claims are that it is a natural port, and no dredging is required;
that by building this port, Thiruvananthapuram will develop like Singapore or Dubai;
that it is India’s first transhipment port;
and it will create huge employment opportunities and enhance State revenue.
I am not an environmental/academic expert, though I was part of a research team looking at the ‘coastal ecosystem changes in the west coast of the country’ during 2000-2010. Together with this, being from the coastal fishing community in Kerala, and as my native place was the first coastal area to experience severe erosion after the 1970s construction of artificial structures (two breakwaters) at Vizhinjam for a fishery harbour; I had on-field knowledge and experience about the impact of such structures.

https://www.telegraphindia.com/business/over-8000-millionaires-set-to-leave-india/cid/1870040 About 8,000 dollar millionaires are likely to move out of India in 2022 — making it one of the top three countries to experience the exodus of the wealthiest, a new study has claimed. The key drivers for migration are the desire for higher standard of living, better educational and health facilities and also to get away from the stringent tax residency rule and the high rate of individual tax in India, Henley Global Citizens Report, 2022 Q2, stated
According to Bijal Ajinkya, partner in direct tax, private client and investment fund practices in solicitor firm Khaitan & Co, stringent tax rules and reporting requirements along with the desire for stronger passports remain the key drivers for Indians who are favouring the EU countries, Dubai and Singapore for relocation.
In May 19, 2015 , PM Modi insulting comments: People were ashamed of being Indians https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLpxSL82ihQ
Indian PM Narendra Modi, known for his rhetorical and powerful speeches, has gone too far with his comments, when one of his statements was taken as an insult. Modi had said that people were ashamed of being Indians before he became Prime Minister.
While I dont vouch for it, is there a harm to give it a try. Even it is purely psycho-somatic, whats wrong with it?

Economic intermediation is moving online. This means that the acts of purchase and distribution of goods are shifting from the physical to the digital. These platforms are able to create a competitive advantage for themselves because they reduce transaction costs and because they obtain greater economies of scale. online retailing reduces the number of intermediaries. however the balance of economic power will shift in complex ways. The experience of Asian colonization makes it clear that when trading platforms are monopolizes, wealth accrues not to the producers but to the distributors of goods.
Security aspects of the platform economy are under-emphasized. Large tech companies gather tremendous amount of data and wealth globally and this data and the technologies they develop are utilized by military authorities.

I have, as you might well imagine, regularly done my prayers, regularly retired at the time appointed by you, and been out of bed at the same hour when, as Nanak says the “Heavens rain nectar”.’ Later in the same letter, Nehru remarks: ‘My days are passed among the saints nowadays, and I should love to finish as well as I can my knowledge of the Bible, the Saints (including Christian Saints of course), the Ramayan and the Mahabharat (including of course the Bhagavad Gita). I have some secular literature [with me], no doubt, but that takes frankly, a subordinate place.
