It's a clear violation of the Supreme Court order which had insisted that Lions be moved to Kuno and provide a 2nd home for this indigenous endangered species. However megalomania and false pseudo-scientific narratives are being spinned
We are being taken on a ride. The wheels of which are scientists who are doing this for power and personal goals rather than for conservation. The engine of course is our political leaders who treat this as a birthday gift. And the path is towards destruction.
I believe that the promise of development tourism and income from that as well as the promise of conservation, both are not worth in the light of expenses of the heavy management it will need. But mostly, it totally leaves out the needs of conservation of species that we already have and are endangered whether it's the lion or the caracle or the wolf. The cheetah will also need fortress conservation, a colonial strategy that will not only make local community into puppets but also result in loss of traditional practices, rights, and knowledge regarding use of these grasslands.
First poor penguins and now cheetahs..!
