"Local women opposed the action of the district administration. The policemen present at the site tried to stop the women, resulting in the clash. We are not going to let the survey happen, and the state govt should stop it immediately. The district administration needs to talk to the landowners and take permission from us before carrying out the survey," he said.
Land acquisition officials in Purandar confirmed that of the three drones used for the land survey for the proposed Purandar airport, one was damaged by the villagers of Ekhatpur. An FIR would be registered at the Saswad police station against those who damaged the drone, officials said.
